My friend was the second child born to his parents. When he was about to have his own second child, his mother shared a story with him.
She explained that when she was pregnant with him, she feared how she would share her love. She loved her first child so much that she didn’t know how it would be possible to spread the love equally to them both. And she feared that the more children she had, that she would have to even further divide her love.
She didn’t have to. When my friend was born, her love grew further. And when his other sibling was born, her love grew even more. Love isn’t something you need to divide, it grows to meet each child and each experience.
Passion For What You Do
Entrepreneurship is uncannily similar to parenthood. You start a business, and from it is born countless opportunities and ventures. And just like mom, we fear that we don’t have enough passion to go around.
There is no need to be afraid. Just as your love grows to meet each new family member, your passion grows to meet each new opportunity.
I would love to hear your story! How has your passion grown to encompass all you do?
I really love this story… As a Entrepreneur, I will be looked like this from today onwards…
