As I walked the Pepperdine University campus before my keynote, I came upon a September 11th memorial.  Deena Burnett is the wife of alumnus Tom Burnett, one of the heroes who died on Flight 93 during the attacks.

On the memorial rock is a quote that we all need to remember:

Heroes can give their lives all at one time

or they can give a little each day.
