After 21 years in the construction industry, Shawn is committed to helping construction professionals change the way the world views the trades.
Shawn previously owned a construction management consulting firm and general contracting company. He, also, served as an executive at a specialty contracting company. Years of being a numbers guy with a toolbelt gave him the skills and experience he now uses to help others grow and streamline their businesses.
Now a construction industry consultant, business coach, and speaker, Shawn is the author of The Paperwork Punch List: 28 Days to Streamline Your Construction Business, and Profit First for Contractors, a Fine Homebuilding Brand Ambassador, and contributor to the Journal of Light Construction. Shawn is a keynote speaker who travels the US training construction professionals on the systems needed to develop data, track performance, and plan for success. Shawn is a regular presenter at industry events such as the NAHB International Builders Show, JLC Live, PCBC and numerous trade show and corporate events.
When Shawn isn’t helping construction business owners grow their businesses, he enjoys living life in East Tennessee with his beautiful wife, Katie, four active boys, and sweet baby girl.
