In 2016, Colleen founded Seattle-based counseling company, Acuity Counseling. She currently focuses on education and speaking on topics related to the first responder community, as well as leading the 18 therapists and staff of the Acuity Counseling team. Acuity Counseling counselors are uniquely trained, and culturally competent to work with First Responders such as police, fire and EMS members and their families, as well as holding individual expertise in niche specializations such as Eating Disorders, Substance Abuse, Sex therapy, Grief, PTSD & trauma Mindfulness and Child Therapy. Colleen holds her B.A. in Psychology and M.A. in Counseling Psychology. She is a Clinical Member and Approved Supervisor with the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT) & a Clinical Member of the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF).
